Free and Reduced Priced Meals

Nutrition Benefit Application:
A breakfast and lunch program is served at each school. Students may bring a lunch. Students meeting certain income standards set by the federal government are eligible for free or reduced priced meals. A Nutrition Benefit application for reduced price or free meals is required. This form is available at the school office or the Board of Education office. Once the form has been filled out and returned to the school office, it will be processed for eligibility, which may take up to 10 days. Parents are responsible for sending money for any school meals eaten during the approval process.  A letter of notification will be mailed home regarding approval.

Textbook Rental Fees:
If a student is approved for free meals, he/she will qualify for free textbooks and bus rides. The Waiver of Confidentiality (form 3E) must be filled out and returned to the school office.
