Welcome to Agricultural Education at Spring Hill High School!

Today’s agriculture is so much more than cattle and corn, and embrace the full spectrum from animal science, food science, communications, business, and technology. My classes are designed to help students develop skills that will be applicable in any future career or endeavor. We work to improve communication and critical thinking skills and help students to become smarter consumers.

We utilize the FFA as an intracurricular organization which helps students to apply what they have learned in the classroom and develop a strong network with students studying agricultural education at surrounding local schools. I would encourage all students in agricultural education to become involved FFA members in order to get the most out of our program.  This year we have over 65 members in our FFA chapter!  Check out FFA Events and activities on the FFA Page at http://www.usd230.org/shhs/activities/ffa/
