Teacher Bio
My name is Jean Timberlake. I am a third grade teacher at Spring Hill Intermediate School. I have been teaching at this school since 1971. I have taught second grade, first grade, fourth grade, and am presently teaching third grade.
I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. My major was elementary education with an emphasis in art. My Master’s degree was in the area of reading curriculum.
I have served on numerous curriculum committees in our district. I have also been selected to attend various district technology institutes. I have held two offices in our education association and worked on negotiations several times.
My interests include walking, watching soccer, crafts, skiing (which I don’t get to do as often as I would like), and traveling. I love being in the mountains. I also like to spend time with my family, especially my four great nieces and one great nephew.'
