All About Mrs. Tilton
I am one of the kindergarten teachers at Spring Hill Elementary School. My name is Trudy Tilton and I grew up in Western Kansas in a small town called WaKeeney, where my parents still live. I currently live in De Soto with my husband and my son. I enjoy working in my garden growing flowers and vegetables, going to garage sales and spending time with family and friends. I earned my BSE in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Emporia State University in 1992. I worked in childcare for 4 ½ years in Topeka and then taught kindergarten for 3 years in Hoyt, KS for the Royal Valley School District. I moved to the Kansas City area in 2000 after getting married and taught Head Start Preschool for 5 years for the Olathe School District. In 2005, I had a son and stayed at home with him for 2 years. I started teaching kindergarten at Spring Hill Elementary in the fall of 2007 and enjoy helping young children grow and learn.
