Welcome to the magical world of Kindergarten at Spring Hill Elementary School! Throughout the year, children are encouraged to explore, question, wonder and discover many new things. I provide many “hands-on” opportunities in the classroom to encourage my students to become more confident readers and writers. You can help your child to feel more confident by reading with and to your child and encouraging them to write.
This fall we will be learning some of our kindergarten site-words and reinforcing beginning reading and writing skills. In math we will work on number recognition, graphing, patterning and more.
I look forward to working with you and your child this school year. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You are a very important part of your child’s school experience. Children with involved parents are more successful in school!
