Welcome! Soar right in if you are ready to explore second grade! This year we are blasting off into space with friendly astronaut friends and good citizens. Some of these helpful citizens will stop by to share about how they impact the community. Students will also be learning how to barter and how bartering helps their community.
A teepee constellation is in the future! Second grade will be doing a large unit on Native Americans and will even get to help a guest speaker build an actual teepee! To top it all off, we will celebrate the Native Americans with an Indian day full of fun and informative events.
Speaking of celebrations, we can't forget our fall party! What better way to celebrate going back to school? This year is going to be great, and this is just a preview of what is to come. Enjoy!
