About Mrs. Luther
My name is Cherry Luther. I graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University (when it was still a college), and received my master’s degree from Webster University. I have taught my whole career in Spring Hill. I have been teaching long enough that I am now teaching many of the children of my first students. I fear I’m getting dangerously close to teaching some of their grand children as well. Ha!
I have decided age is a relative thing. I think that’s why I enjoy teaching kindergarten so much - they keep you young. Things never get dull in a kindergarten classroom!
I am married to my wonderful husband Tom. I have a beautiful daughter named Kristy and an awesome granddaughter named Brooke. (Brooke thinks it is pretty funny that Grandma is still “in” kindergarten when she is breezing right on through elementary school.)
I love to read, write, and travel. Whether it’s a road trip through some of our National Parks, cruising to Alaska, visiting various Caribbean islands, relaxing on a beach in the Mayan Riviera, or exploring a Hawaiian island, I am in heaven! I do think my favorite destinations usually have an ocean view!
Well, enough about me, I am excited about getting this year started so I can meet my new kindergarten family! Let’s get this show on the road!!!
