Welcome! Come on in to Mrs. Luther’s Kindergarten classroom. I am so excited to be teaching all day kindergarten again! Lots of learning will take place, so get ready for a busy year and lots of changes in your kindergartener.
We participate in many activities that help exercise our thinking skills. We will be learning letter names and the sounds they make as well as sight words that we don't even have to sound out before we say them! We will also begin drawing and writing in our journals. Math is really fun when we get to use materials to show patterns, and help make class graphs and learn our numbers and what they can be used for. We also like to explore the world around us through science and social studies.
Like I said, this is going to be a great year of learning and exploring for my kindergarten students and their families. So, stay tuned and watch what happens! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns as the year progresses.
