Getting to Know Mrs. Lickteig
I grew up in Princeton, KS and attended Central Heights in grades K-12! Yep I went to the same school for 13 years! After graduating high school I went to college at Johnson County Community College and Emporia State University. After getting married in 2006 to Chance I transfered to Pittsburg State University and that is where I graduated from. I loved Pittsburg so much that my husband and I still go and attend the football games. While there I student taught at Frank Layden Elementary School in Frontenac, KS, where I taught 2nd grade.
In 2009 I had my son, Landon! My husband and I love spending time outside with Landon! We are huge KU fans as well as New York Yankees! Whenever we get the chance to go watch a game we jump on it, we love it when the Yankees come to town to play the Royals:) We also enjoy going on family vacations and spending time with all of our family.
I absolutely love being a Spring Hill Colt and I am looking forward to spending the year with you and your child! This will be my 3rd year here at SHES! I love teaching and look forward to teaching everyday. I truly believe once a student of Mrs. Lickteig's always a student of Mrs. Lickteig's so I am always up for having my past students drop in!
I hope to make this year one of your child's most memorable and with your help I am sure we will succeed in achieving this goal together!
