Second Grade Teacher
Welcome to the exciting world of 2nd grade! This will be my 2nd year teaching here at Spring Hill Elementary School and I am so excited to be starting the school year off with such an exciting and fun group of students. I currently live in Princeton, KS with my husband Chance and our 16 month old son Landon! We have 2 dogs whose names are Cami and Reece. We love being outdoors and going on vacations! This summer we went to Omaha, NE to the College World Series of Baseball, we also got to visit the Omaha Zoo. In my free time I like to go to the movies and read a really good book! Enough about me, now let's get to the really fun stuff!
We will be doing so many exciting new things in 2nd grade this year and I bet you are wondering what they might be so here are a few things we will be learning about this school year:
- how to add and subtract 3 digit numbers
- write exciting stories
- learn about nouns and verbs
- lots of science experiments
- history of the all kinds of Indian Tribes
- and many more fun and exciting things are to come
Each student will leave 2nd grade with a love of learning and zest for school! So as you can see 2nd grade is a very fun and exciting place to be all year long! I can not think of a better place to be than Spring Hill Elementary!
