It is hard to believe that it is already the second quarter of school! The Fifth Grade is beginning its study of Physical Science, while Third and Fourth Grades are beginning Earth Science.
Fifth graders in Mrs. Kaechele's class are working on a "Battle of the Brains" project. This project, sponsered by Burns and McDonnell, challenges students from all over the Kansas City area to design an exhibit for Science City. They have some great ideas! Project is Due October 31 with voting to begin in November.
High School student Taylor Arter is working with us this quarter. She will be working with the students on science projects every afternoon. We are looking forward to her help!
