I have lived in Kansas since 2003, shortly after I got married. My wife (Mrs. Michaela K.) and I met at Iowa State University, where she was studying to be an engineer, and I was studying psychology. We moved to Kansas when my wife graduated and got a job with Sprint. I came with her and finished my education at Ottawa University. I changed my major to Physical Education before we came to Kansas, and man am I glad I did! I wanted to study psychology so that I could be a school counselor, but after discussing it with my wife, we found that I could relate to my students better as a PE teacher. 
I have been teaching since 2006. I taught for 2 years in Topeka and have been here at Spring Hill Elementary School since 2008. I am so happy I made the switch to Spring Hill. This school and community is home to me. I love sharing the community with my family, and I look forward to having my own kids here starting next year. My oldest son Jadon, will be turning 5 this Spring and will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall. I also have two daughters. Sienna will be 3 this spring and my baby Kya was just born this February.

As you can imagine, I love being active. I enjoy playing games of all kinds. When ever friends suggest getting together for a game, I am signed up! I also enjoy quiet activities. I jog, I love to being artistic (painting, drawing, building, creating something from nothing, in any form). Creating music is another part of what I enjoy. I have been in band throughout my life, and I now play drums for the worship band at my church.
