Fire Safety
The Johnson County Fire Department comes to Spring Hill Elementary school every year.The first full week in October in is fire safety week. Practicing fire safety at home is just as important as practicing it at school. A house fire is a scary thing. The best way to make sure you stay safe is to learn about and practice it before there is any real danger.
The Spring Hill fire fighters take it upon themselves to make sure all students get to know who fire fighters are. When a fire fighter is a stranger, students will be scared of them when they come to help. When students learn what fire fighters look like and what they are their to do, they will feel secure when a fire fighter comes to help them.
Fire Fighters are Super Heroes!!!!!
The Spring Hill fire house (Station 84) is always open for visitors. They invite anyone to come stop by when ever you want. Come meet their dalmation, she loves visitors.
