Field Day
Field day is awesome! The one day of the year when the entire school unites in a common activity. As a school we participate in cooperative, team building, problem solving, fun activities that build the sense of community within classrooms, and self-esteem in every student. Each year, our activities focus on a theme that involves everyone. Last year, we Headed West on the Spring Hill Elementary Pioneer Trail. So students were united in their posses from all around the Nation. Everyone made sure to try their best in hopes that their teammates would have the time of their lives. On Field Day, everyone gets to be a part of a winning team, the Spring Hill Colts team. It’s just some good old-fashioned fun that gives everyone (including adults) permission to be a little less serious.
This year our Stuents are shooting for the stars on the "2011 Space Odyssey."
