Stephanie Joles
First Grade Teacher

Hello!  I’m Stephanie Joles and welcome to first grade!  This is such an exciting year filled with many educational and personal opportunities for growth. During the course of the year, you will notice a great change in your student.  At first things will not seem that different, as we are reviewing what was learned in kindergarten, but as the year progresses so does your students’ abilities.  Teaching your child new skills, watching them gain self-confidence, and encouraging them to be responsible, sensitive citizens brings me great joy.  I believe all children can learn in a caring and supportive environment.  I thoroughly enjoy my profession and consider it a privilege to work with you and your children.

Now, here’s more about me. I graduated from Ottawa University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree.  I completed my Master’s Degree from Webster University.  This will be my ninth year of teaching in the Spring Hill School District.  My husband and I have been married for about 11 years.  He is a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Olathe.  We have a beautiful four-year-old daughter, her name is Kinzley, and a one  year old little guy named Kason. They are amazing and the true lights of my life and we enjoy every minute we have with them!   When I am not teaching, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, shopping, relaxing, walking, bike riding, boating and of course cheering on the JAYHAWKS!  Now you know a little about me, and I hope to learn all about you this year!

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
