Mrs. Jenni Herndon
Speech and Language Pathologist

Welcome to Speech and Language!  I am Mrs. Herndon, the Speech and Language Pathologist for kindergarten through second grade students.  In our classroom, students work on a wide range of skills – how they produce individual sounds (articulation), how they understand language (receptive language), how they express themselves (expressive language) and how they apply their language to their academics.

Much of our time is not only spent in our classroom working on individual skills, but also out in the students’ classrooms, helping them use their skills in their most natural environments.  Each student spends a varying amount of time in the speech and language classroom, but each moment spent is filled with hard work and valued skill practice.  The students are working on skills that will have an impact on all aspects of their daily lives and they take great pride in their individual goals they reach!
