Hello and welcome to first grade! My name is Michaela Dalinghaus. This is my seventh year of teaching and my fifth year at Spring Hill. I previously taught 5th and 6th grade and I know I have found my TRUE home here as a SHES Colt!
My husband and I live in Shawnee and have been married for 4 years. We have an amazing little boy, Reese, who is one! We also have a Weimaraner named Harley. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, going for walks with Reese, spending time with my family and friends and cheering for the KSU Wildcats!
First grade is such an important year filled with countless learning opportunities, both educationally, personally, and socially. I do my very best to make sure our classroom is a safe and exciting environment where students feel welcome and enjoy coming to school every day. I am a believer that all children can learn in a compassionate and supportive environment. I am very excited about the start of a new year and having the opportunity to work with your children.
