Michaela Dalinghaus
First Grade Teacher

Hello and welcome to first grade! My name is Michaela Dalinghaus. This is my fourth year of teaching at Spring Hill. I graduated from Kansas State University in May of 2005 and I am a huge Wildcat fan! My husband and I have been married for 3 years and have an amazing little boy, Reese, who is 7 months old. We also have a Weimaraner named Harley and a German Shorthair named Brooks. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, going for walks, spending time with my family and friends and cheering for the KSU Wildcats!

First grade is such an important year filled with countless learning opportunities, both educationally, personally, and socially. I do my very best to make sure our classroom is a safe and exciting environment where students feel welcome and enjoy coming to school every day.  I am a believer that all children can learn in a compassionate and supportive environment. I am very excited about the start of a new year and having the opportunity to work with your children.

This year your child will learn and discover many new things.
