Welcome to my classroom! I teach several courses at Spring Hill Middle School, and these include:
Explorations in Technology
I am so glad you have entered EXIT. This 7th and 8th grade elective and required course, also known as Explorations In Technology, utilizes the Synergistic System curriculum. Students use computers to study a variety of topics that include rocketry, electricity, audio broadcasting, flight, robotics, animation, physics and others.
Beginning EXIT
Beginning EXIT is an elective class that consists of several hands-on activities for 6th graders that study the concepts of balloons, modeling, computing, resources, electricity, automation,computing and other related topics. At the begining of each class, students answer two questions about the topic they are studing in complete sentences.
Mechanical Drawing
Mechanical Drawing is an 8th grade elective class for beginners. It provides a quick, simple and easy-to-understand introduction to the world of drafting. The students will get the opportunity to draw sketches, shape descriptions, hidden lines, circles, lettering and a simple floor plan. Students will use a scaled ruler, T- square, and angle which ties in perfectly with the CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) class at the High School.
