Theatre/Drama/English II
Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I am very excited for a fun and productive Spring semester.
We are one semester into my goal of building a high-quality, high-energy, and inclusive Theatre program that the students, parents and community will be proud of. Our production of the musical Oklahoma was a great example of what this Theatre Department will be about. The amazing efforts of the students, supported by family, staff and the community produced a show that everyone was proud of. I look forward to adding to our successful year with our Spring play which will be performed on March 22nd and 23rd.
The Theatre classes in this program are going to be centered on projects that get every student involved. The main goal of the classes and the projects is to build the individual student’s self-confidence, make them more responsible and instill the value of community and group effort. Each student who is involved with our Theatre department will gain insights and skills that will have a positive impact on them in their adult lives.
The English Department at Spring Hill High School is very dedicated and focused on each child learning and being successful within our classrooms. In my class, I put a high value on positive effort and expect that from each student. If each student exhibits this quality, they will increase their English proficiency and will succeed in the class.
