Hello and welcome to my classroom! Each day I challenge my student’s with new ideas and strategies to help them achieve to their highest abilities. I have high expectations for all of my students, and they work very hard to reach those expectations. I use a lot of cooperative learning strategies that help the students better understand the content. These strategies also help the students become more efficient at communicating with others and working together to solve problems.
I have a high-energy classroom and the students have a lot of fun, but they also show a great deal of respect for each other. We have an exciting and safe learning environment. Some of the different activities we have completed in my class are skits to help learn vocabulary, plays in reading, presentations of the original thirteen colonies, and building a working rollercoaster to help learn about Newton’s laws of motion.
