Hello, my name is Mrs. Armstrong and welcome to my webpage!
I am happy to be apart of the Special Education Resource Team at Spring Hill High School! I currently serve as a Case Manager for a group of students that have been identified as eligible for Special Education services. Special Education is designed to help children who have specific and intense needs that generally cannot be sufficiently met in the regular classroom.
As Case Manager, I work with the child, parents or guardians and selected staff to write an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for each student. The IEP is the legal document that helps modify the general classroom material and instruction to accommodate the student’s specific educational needs. My hope is to see each student achieve academic success!
